Life in San Antonio

...a unique city

image_alamoWill Rogers once called San Antonio "one of the four unique cities in the US", and it certainly lives up to that reputation. Located near the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country, San Antonio is the 7th largest city in the US with a population of over 1 million. However, the city maintains the atmosphere of a smaller town as it preserves its diverse cultural legacy of Spanish, Western, German and Mexican heritages.

San Antonio offers diverse educational and employment opportunities for spouses and families. The University of Texas at San Antonio, Trinity University, St. Mary's University and Law School, Our Lady of the Lake University, University of the Incarnate Word and the San Antonio College system all call this city home. Excellent public and private schools are also available for your children.

The variety isendlessand includes two majortheme parks, treasured historical sites, the NBS Spurs games, activities in the arts, the annual Stock Show and Rodeo and the renowned Riverwalk just to name a few. With our beautiful climate - warm, dry summers and mild winters, the city attracts people who really enjoy the outdoors.

The cost of living in San Antonio is lower than in many parts of Texas and the United States. A wide variety of houses, apartments and condominiums are available in great neighborhoods centrally located. Most residents live within 15 minutes of the University Hospital.
